Pulmonary Arteries

The arteries carrying blood into each lung. There are two large branches from the (main) pulmonary artery, (‘left pulmonary artery’ and ‘right pulmonary artery’) and many smaller branches within each lung. All these are called ‘pulmonary arteries’.
